Bukchon Hanok Village

While meeting up with MH’s old game theory professor in Seoul, we decided to check out Bukchon Hanok Village (북촌한옥마을) in Jongno-gu. I’ve been there in a variety of different weather conditions and times, but I must say that the dreary skies really made the cultural district that much more alluring. While the majority of these homes date back to the Jonseon Dynasty, it’s safe to say that most of them (if not all) have been updated. On this particular day I found myself distracted by the views of the mountains cutting away at the sky… and also by the brief rain storm that we got caught in while out and about in the village.

Wires, wires, wires… reminds me of Thailand

To get to the Bukchon Village, go to Anguk Station (Seoul Subway Line 3), Exit 2.
Go straight for about 300m to arrive at the village.
